Hi,

This goes in tandem with my "Cyclist's Node" post. I need some new
bibs to cushion my lumpy ass. :)
Wondering what your recommendations are for bib brands with high density chamois? Not necessarily the thickest, but a chamois that provides some cushion. As a slightly larger than average cyclist (180-185 or so) I find that many chamois are completely compressed once you are sitting on them, providing next to no cushion.
Thanks

I recently purchased 3 pairs of these Gore Power 3.0 shorts. They are very reasonably priced. If you shop the gore site a bit, you'll find they make about 4 different thicknesses/densities of pad to go in their various shorts. The pad in these works great for me and I'm about the same weight as you. Here's a link to the ones I purchased.
