Does anybody have any experience with Zipp track hubs? I was looking at the silver version, but it looks like Zipp replaced them with their "333" model. Does anybody have any insights as to what the differences are? Any reviews out there?

Thanks,
Alex

Parenthetical to your question, but the flanges on the 188 rear hubs were machined a little too lightly to save weight - fairly high failure rate with drive side implosion. Roll OK and crraftsmanship OK. For the loads and stresses of track racing I'd look elsewhere . YMMV. I do love their rims, but mine now roll on CK.

Those may be the best looking track hubs made currently. I knew of some large sprinters who raced on those, no problems at all.

i'll be they are very expensive.

i ride campy c record high and low flange vintage pista hubs on my bikes....but then again i don't race anymore. these hubs seem like they are bombproof.
