Not sure how it happened...is there a way to repair/rethread these, or are they a loss?
(Stupid/crappy design idea, IMO)

You can put an helicoil in there I guess.

The hidden nut can be hammered out. It's in there by friction. Just order a new set of chainring bolts and lightly tap the new one in.
