Let me say this about that...

A couple of months ago e-r was looking to have his bikes shot. He obviously dialed the wrong number and I answered the phone. As it turns out, I had 3 bikes and a frameset in my studio over the course of a week. I must have gone through a case of paper towels wiping the drool off them.

asking if I was willing to pose nude with the bike in the studio. I was game until he suggested I get my own bottom bracket tatooed with a matching "RS".

Sorry e-richie, but then we did avoid a trademark infringement.

Kudos, Jeff. The artistry of those new shots (of the red/white road, blue/white road, and red/white x-cross bikes) really serve the artistry of the frames. You done good!

I have received hundreds of emails from people asking why it took a week
to do the shots of e-Richie's bikes. Truth be told, our e-Richie has a
daily lunch ritual I found a bit surprising. Each day, at about 11:45
he insisted we go to Hooters for lunch. I was shocked!

Upon arriving, the hostess would immediately gree e-r, "Good
morning Mr. Sachs. Your usual table?" It seemed as though every
waitress knew e-r, flashing their naughty-flirtatious smiles at us, with
a wink or flick of hair. Every so often, e-r would ask one of the
waitresses if she would like to see his torch and she would go run off
and tell the others in a chorus of giggles. To make a long story short,
4 or 5 (I lost count) martinis later we got back to work, and e-r would
crawl into my dog's crate and take a nap.

Candy for the eyes: A nice way to start the day, atmo. Any spindle will be happy here.
I was driving down a suburban arterial with my family over the weekend and passed a cyclist a couple of lanes over. As usual, I checked out his bike as we went by and, to my utter surprise, it was a red Richard Sachs. I'm surprised when I see anything other than trekendale stuff around and to see a Sachs just cruising down the road (not a nice country road either, going by a shopping center just outside of town) really took me by surprise. I just about caused an accident slowing down to get a better look.

Poor guy probably thought I was just another jerk driver out to get the cyclists, but I was just trying to drive and drool at the same time.

No good place to slow down, open the window, and compliment him, but I'd have probably just scared him if I'd tried.
