I bought a set of Far & Near Campy 11 hoods a couple years ago from Fair Wheel Bikes. They came in a clear plastic clam shell box. Rubber was very soft and very close in feel to the OEM hoods. I installed these from the front of the levers.
Picked up another set from a local seller a few days ago. They came in new cardboard packaging and the rubber a bit more stiff like Hudz. Graphical instructions say to install from the rear of the levers. I think I probably would rip them if I installed from the front.
Anyone else get these "new" Far & Near hoods? Were they a pain to install from the rear?
