Having taken up racing again this year, I've noticed that I'm one of the few crit riders without deep profile wheels.
DA C50 clinchers were my leading candidates for correcting this, but I just saw the VeloNews story about the new Ritchey Apex 60 wheels, and they look like they would do nicely for crits, too.
Not expecting that anyone owns both, but any thoughts out there on the Ritcheys? My only experience with that brand wheels were a set bought on closeout some years back, and basically, I got what I paid for. I love my DA C-24 clinchers, but if Ritchey has upped their game, I'd be interested in hearing about it.

I am interested in these as well. The new Ritchey Phanton Flange hubs are a cool design and hopefully one of the wheel experts on the forum can opine.

The rims are very good - Reynolds carbon but the older pre-SLG models with the narrower rim width just over 20mm, which is good for frames that can't fit the wider 25mm rims.

Price seems reasonable as well at ~$1600 MSRP.
