That's what I thought. He's clearly flying up those stairs, but the speed doesn't look great enough to carry the whole flight.

Must have a cancellara motor in there.

Funny, same thing occurred to me. Can't see how you would be able to maintain momentum. Could it be the camera angle is distorted and the rise is not as steep as it appears?

It's all in the pump. Making speed and momentum where there isn't any.

It's all in timing the pump perfectly. He must "ride" a pump track a lot.
