I'm signing up for the Slinger 7 day trail to watch it on the universal sports stream.

Didn't see any other options without having cable.

It's geo-restricted in the US so you have to make them think you're somewhere else...i.e. use Hola.

Hola (which usually has me covered for grabbing Sporza or Eurosport feeds) wasn't working for me. Tunnelbear appears to be the way to go.

Hola didn't work for me on OS X, but it's working on the iPad

I was able to watch on universal sports stream, despite having cable but NOT being in their list of providers. it gave me a banner at the top of the stream - saying my 1 minute free trial was over - that was kinda disruptive, but not too bad; could still see what was happening. then i fullscreened it and there was no banner.

I am not sure why it was so easy, but I am in Canada, and watched a good chunk of the women's race and all of the mens race last night on Youtube. Usually these things have a hitch, but I just clicked on da link and there it was!

I am not much of a spectator of bike races, but I had it running in the background as my wife and I chatted - she even got caught up in the excitement a few times.

Canada is not geo-blocked for the UCI World Cup streams, as far as i know. Universal Sports has the US broadcast rights, so they have youtube block US IP addresses from viewing the stream.

i used Tunnelbear for a bit to watch the UCIChannel stream in youtube, but switched back to Hola (in Chrome) and it worked with Netherlands as my country choice.
