OK, is it just me, or does it seem strange to others that a 2005 bike already needs new decals? How many miles you got on that thing?

It's not the miles, it's often how the bike is transported. One of those rear of the car racks that holds the top tube and wraps little rubber things around to secure it is hell on decals - just a guess...
