If I want to run 10 speed on a 6800 rear hub how wide of a spacer do I need on the inside of the cassette?

1.85mm is the width of the spacer that comes with the hub for this purpose.

Then you need to add the standard 1mm 10 speed spacer.

So I have to put on 2 spacers for a total of 2.85mm to run 10 speed on 6800?

I saw a chart somewhere that seemed to indicate this, yet only a 1.8 worth for a 9sp.

That is correct for Shimano 10s cogsets. Only the 1.85 with 8 and 9s...and the other S maker of 10s.
