It's kind of neat to see two top Aussie riders of their generations having a go. The scenery is spectacular, it makes me missed my time in Down Under, especially the special ride that thinpin-pal and I did together.

Anybody knows what he does now? Wikipedia says, 'gentleman farmer' but...any of you guys who are 'down under' know??

Not really. I knew he had a property on the Victorian coast and seemed to be some kind of roving ambassador at large for Australian cycling, but his legacy seems largely forgotten (except for those in the know, I guess)... part of that is due to the fact when Anderson was getting results cycling was not something you could see on TV. Fandom came from buying black & white photo magazines a couple of months after the event.

Pretty sure Phil still runs tours to France during the TDF. He also was the Skoda ambassador for TDU a couple years, was able to ride with him there, very nice gentleman, and still a beast on a bike.

As a new south welshman, this video made me so happy and homesick and it's just so lovely to watch.
