3x10 MTB Shifters will work with Ultegra 6603 RD/FD?

MY friend wants to change from 6603 shifters to 3x10 MTB shifters/ Flat bar,,will they work with 6603 RD/FD? Triple in front with 12-25 cassette. What brand of MTB would be best?

nope. shimano 10spd shifters or derailleurs won't work with road shifters or derailleurs.

Shimano says you need compatible "flat bar" front derailleur, but not sure that's true. We discussed back in the day. Gotta make sure the shifter and brake lever clamps fit the bars you're gonna use.

No, 6600 will work fine with those shifters.

This is the main reason that I use SRAM on my cross bike - switching back and forth between drop bars and Jones H-Bars. Brifters and triggers swap for SRAM.

Ok, I just got back from Kauai (lots of showers and humid due to tropical storm),,,,I bought SL-R770 shifters and now what type of brake levers will work with 105 brake calipers?

You want levers meant for cantilever brakes, not linear pull.
