Sometimes when you Google your own name, you get lucky. In the last couple of days a pair of newspaper articles have drawn attention to the new Marin Museum of Bicycling (http://mmbhof.org/) in Fairfax, California, which also includes the Mountain Bike Hall of Fame. Both articles had a lengthy explanation as to why the location is so appropriate.

Some people found a paywall for the San Francisco Chronicle article (http://www.sfchronicle.com/sports/article/How-mountain-biking-s-mega-success-started-on-6483464.php), but I was able to access it without a subscription. Give it a shot, clicks are cheap.

The Fresno Bee article (http://www.fresnobee.com/living/article33742755.html) is not restricted, and covers much of the same ground.

I visited the museum recently and HIGHLY recommend it. Joe Breeze gave me a personal tour!

Very cool. I am going to be up there in a couple of weeks for a ride that starts there. Will definitely take some time after to check it out.

Yup, I hit the SF Chronicle paywall. However, if you simply search for the same article, and click from the search engine, you should get access.
