Force CX1 brake lever question

I want to run CX1X10, If i use a standard force 10 speed right shifter, will it feel the same in my hand as the new-er left CX1 brake only lever? I didn't know if the ergo/structure changed when they moved to the new shifters. I don't want two different feels and might just use a 10sp double Force shifter on the left without a FD if there is a difference. Thanks ahead of time!

you mean rim brake version yes?

In that case, I believe they're the same lever body. It's just lacking the shifter guts...

Can you show a photo of your right SRAM force shifter? If it's the older model then it'll feel different as they changed the shifter body shape.

Charles - is that a 10sp or 11? I will be running an older 10 speed force right shifter and want to know if the left brake lever only from the new CX1 has the same shape.

If you are running a SRAM Force 10 Speed lever, they will not match. The Force 10 speed levers were known as the "DoubleTap" controls, wheras the 11 Speed levers had Red trickle-down shape known as "Ergo Dynamic". The shape/texture of the hoods changed, as did the shape of the levers.
