One of my iBob pals is looking at a NOS for sale. Was this the standard geometry predecessor to the Fierte?

It was a steep angled aluminum frame, crit steep not TT steep. It may have had an aero or some other shaped downtube but I don't realy remember. I'll try to look through some old catalogs when I get home.

In my 2004 catalog, the Peloton was a Ti bike with a sloping top tube, very similar in appearance to the Fierte. The heirarchy, in the catalog, was between the CSi and the Concours Ti.

I do recall an aluminum one back in the mid 90's that would make it a way, way NOS frame.

I think it was a Concours with an Aero Down Tube.

The Peloton was never made as an aluminum frame. It was the entry level Ti frame at the moment and the down tube was a slight aero shape to give it a slightly different look and was set below the Concours frame.

Daves right on the money as I owned one that looked exactly like the pic he posted. Nice bikes imho but you don't seem to see many around.
