I looking for a dry lube for dry summer weather. I've been using heavy wet one, but it's sort of a PITA when it's hot out - grabs a lot of dust and dirt. What's your favorite these days?

There is nothing wrong with White Lightning or Finish Line Krytech.

I'm partial to the Finish Line stuff.

Dupont Chain Saver works great too.

Same. Finish Line Teflon is the best dry lube out of many, many ones that I have used.

WD40 Dry is pretty good stuff also.

I'm pretty sure the dupont chain saver product IS the same stuff as finish line. I picked up several bottles at the local lowes a while back.

I've been using Boeshield T9 with good success. It requires more application than a wet lube, but it's much cleaner.

I use White Lightning, and I wipe my chain clean and re-lube every 2-3 rides. It definitely doesn't last long, but it stays pretty clean. I switch to the heavier stuff if I know I'll be out for a really long ride, or in the rain.

whatever miniscule amount of lubrication WD40 might provide evaporates so quickly as to be meaningless. its an effective solvent and chain cleaner though!

fwiw...WD40 works great on motorcycle chains for the very reason it's so bad for bicycle chains. moto chains have embedded lubrication, all they need is an effective cleaner be applied regularly.

Rock n Roll Gold lube. It's a huge step up from a lot of lubes because it cleans and lubricates- you apply a ton to the chain, freewheel it a bit, wipe off the grit that comes to the surface, and you're done. Highly recommended

Finish Line Teflon is the only dry lube I have used, but it works great for my intended purposes so I'm in no hurry to change.

Full disclosure: I (almost) never use it as a chain lube.

I use it to lube my cleats, per manufacturer's recommendation. Also sometimes for brake caliper pivots, or when a saddle develops squeaky rails.

In my experience, "dry lube" is an oxymoron....

Just wax your chain. It's not hard.

I've been very pleased with Lilly Lube. Stays nice and clean (if you wipe your chain off, which I do) and lasts a long time.

sprays on and dries up to a non-gooey, non-sticky, waxy film.

Is the ATB (Absolutely the Best) Lube still around?

I bought several bottles years ago and still have not had to replenish....good stuff.
