I won a pair of wheels from that auction site and they came with some tires that are in really good shape. The downside is at the edges have separated from the wheels. Can I just touch up the edges with some glue and ride on?
Im new to tubulars so not quite sure what you can and can't do quite yet.
Thanks for the help

Put a little air in them and see if you can easily pry them off with your thumbs. If yes, take off, clean off big glumpys off the rim, reglue.

You'll also want to really inspect the base tape/tire carcass interface too. If the edges have separated from the rim, the base tape may not be stuck too well to the tire carcass. A great re-glue job between the base tape and the rim means not much if the base tape comes loose from the tire.

If you're worried about the adhesion of the tires you might want to strip the glue from the rims if you decide to remove the tires. Post some pictures and enough people with experience will offer top you solid advice.
"glumpys"
That is a technical term. Correctly, it should be "les glumperes," but then Tater isn't so big on French.

What Old Potatoe said... You can ruin the base tape by removing them so be careful. I like to get a screw driver in there across the rim and pry back in forth removing a little bit as I go along the rim to a point where you can then peal it off straight not at an angle where it can rip the tape.
I've touched up wheels as you mentioned but since you don't know the history of these it's a questionable practice. Congrats on winning wheels!
