WilliamThen I guess he'll need a bigger headbadge, unless he abbreviates Pennsylvania as Penna. :)

Haha! Cat's out of the bag!

My wife and I relocated 11 days ago- I'm getting set up and she's just started her new position at Penn State. So far it's been lovely- good looking town(s) and some great looking rides in the area.

Sorry if I missed you on the left coast, but excited to meet new and old friends out here!

Oh, and see if you can hang with Tom Kellogg. He's a super cool guy and I'm sure you guys would have a lot to talk about.

Congratulations to your wife--is she going to teach at Penn Sate? I teach literature at Texas A&M, which, like PS, is a land-grant university.

By the way, I love your bikes! Dreaming of one of your Tool Series CX bikes some day.

Thanks- Karen is a librarian. She received her own press release (here (http://news.psu.edu/story/359209/2015/06/01/academics/estlund-appointed-associate-dean-technology-digital-strategies)). I'm proud of and excited for her.

I'm not sure if it would be your size, but there is a 54tt CX Tool over in the classifieds. Let me know when the time is right!

Yes, congrats to both of you. And I see that Karen is a Reedie, another plus (I grew up on that campus in the late 60s, early 70s, talk about a wild time!). I enjoyed briefly talking with you one afternoon during a Sunday Streets event in Eugene, what, 2 or 3 years ago. And have had you in the back of my mind for a custom stem or whatnot when that need arises. Still a possibility . . .

State College is a great place for riding, especially with all the gravel roads in Rothrock State Park so near.

Congratulations on your wife's new position. I'm looking forward to seeing your bikes at the Philly Expo again.

When Eric moves, he MOVES. Can't get much further away from Oregon than Pennsylvania.

Congrats Eric. I hope everything goes great for you in your new location.

And lastly, we need new shop build pics!

William,
I think you should remove Glenn Erickson's name from the Washington state list.

You will like SC. Lots of good road, gravel, and mountain biking in this area.

hey, that's me!

Anyone in the area should come out to the Wednesday night gravel rides. 7pm at the forestry lot near Tussey Mountain. No drop. And then we go over to Duffy's tavern afterwards for 60 cent wing night.

Edited to add: I hope long-time residents know where the Galbraith Gap parking area (aka Forestry Lot) is, but here is a LINK (https://www.google.com/maps/place/341+Bear+Meadows+Rd,+Boalsburg,+PA+16827/@40.764421,-77.747197,15z/data=!4m2!3m1!1s0x89ceafdf73e89c6d:0x72decefe004ce c53?hl=en)

We wait everywhere someone could get lost, and people ride with the stragglers.
