She may not have a preference for Campy or Shimano, mostly rawhide and squeak toys at this point. She did not chew any Rapha or Assos when presented to her, nor has she outlined an opinion on Lance and Pharmstrong.

Say hello to Pepper. Six year old Poodle mix.

Hi Pepper :)

I agree with your choice to turn your nose up at that over-priced cycling kit.

She looks quite friendly. Since she's six and has only just joined your household what's her back-story?

Rescue? Good on both of you! She's French. She wants Cafe du Cycliste.

She was at the East Bay SPCA today. Her previous owner -- who had her since a puppy -- fell on some hard times and had to give her up. Sounds like the grooming costs started ot become to much.

So we hopefully have stumbled bass-ackwards into a dog that can already fetch, is housebroken, and totally chill. Not kidding when I say she fell asleep on the car ride home.

Eric(poodle mix) gets a "puppy cut with teddy bear head" and he looks fine for several months.

That face makes me think of a Wookie. Congratulations on the new family member.

She's been completely low key so far. According to The Boss, she was waiting by the door when I got home from the morning ride.

Now if only I can teach her how to glue a tubular...

We're on our 3rd rescue dog in a row, way easier than the puppy thing. Way to go, great addition! Latest one came from a underground railroad for rescue labs. He hopped out of the carrier, went over to our car and peed on the tire and jumped in the back seat. Fit right in. Part of the family and a gem with the kids from the day we picked him up. Only hitch is that the cat gets in his head, its kinda funny.
