Colnago "Alluminium"?

I saw a Colgano on RBR that has "Alluminium" on the top tube. Any idea why they spelled it this way?

BTW, from my brief Internet searching, these came from Colnago spelled this way.

The rest of the world does spell it "aluminium" but the extra "L" is unusual. A translation of English to Italian shows that it is spelled with two "L's."
