Hello All:
Anyone know of bar choices with nice near horizontal ramps like the Nitto Noodle but with a bit less reach? Maybe around 80mm?
Thanks,
Jim

Interested to see the suggestions. I love the Nitto Noodle but do wish the reach was 15-20mm shorter.

Because you mentioned Noodle, i'm assuming you're looking for a silver, 26.0
round drop traditional bend bar?

That could be a challenge, because 80mm puts you more in the range of short reach
bar, and most examples have steep ramps, not flat. The traditional "parallel"
bend shape handlebar needs 100+mm of reach in order to bend 180 degrees.

Alternatively, if you are looking for a contemporary handlebar to mate with
current integrated shifters, the 3T ergo sum has 90mm of reach and flat ramps.
Almost all the "short and shallow" contemporary compact reach bars are in the
75-80mm range of reach. The Nitto Neat Mod.106 NAS is available in silver
or black, 26 or 31.8 clamp.

In a 'modern' bar the Zipp SC SL's have a 10 degree ramp and 70mm reach. The ramp on the Nitto appears to be 15 degrees.

Soma Highway one has a 75mm reach. Available in silver and a 26.0 or 31.8 clamp diameter.

The noodles ramp is flat for a while, but the bend is gradual, so depending on what levers you use and where you place them they may not be that flat. With Noodles and Cane Creek brake levers, which sort of copy Campy, the transition to the hoods is very smooth. Not so with Noodles and DA 7700 levers I have on another bike. I still like the feel, it's just different. The Noodles do however have ramps more nearly parallel to the drops. The Salsa bell lap have flat ramps with a sharper bend, and also lesser reach.

If you can take advantage of the 31.8mm diameter check out Ritchey's EvoCurve. Flat ramps and a similar rearward sweep on the tops to the Noodle. 83mm reach, 128mm drop with double-radius bend

If your looking for a 26mm bar the silver Al Nitto M106 NAS is another alternative, so far I am liking mine.
