Looking at the peleton this year, it seems the pure white shoe is declining with more colours and black coming back.

What colours do you good folk prefer for your road shoes?

Black.

White shoes make me feel like Herb Tarlek.

Still like white, although admittedly I have no talent for being a fashionista.
Since I bought a second pair (still in the box of s-works pair) a couple of years back, I plan to be wearing white shoes for a while.

I am a minimalist so I prefer Black. I am vain as well and black goes with everything.

I only wear them between Memorial Day and Labor Day...Dave Thompson gave me that bit of fashion advice.

I really don't like all white shoes in any application.

I love that whacky colors look dated almost immediately. Tackier and uglier the better! :)

Currently wear black but I just bought a pair of blue Rapha climbers shoes. Never been a fan of all white shoes. Like Tihsepa mentioned, Herb Tarlek.

when Lake lost their distributor a few years ago and were being blown out online, I got some white shoes for <$50. Takes about 20 miles on every ride before I stop seeing them as some object on the road.

Look up two posts. I love them. I didn't have Wires but the toe box is roomier for me than my Sidi Laser and Dom 5s.

Tapping Ergo Wires in white. Motorists can see the flash of white going up and down. I hope.

$80. on closeout (I think they are up to ~120 now)

Sidi Tarus, I like the all velcro. Had the same model (different name I think) for 8 years in silver. Used the hell out of them.
I was delighted that they still make it as it's all the shoe I need.

I've had my two pairs of white shoes for 10yrs plus.....they are now a nice deep shade of "very dirty white" so they're no longer so offensive to the eyes.

These have the added bonus of being great shoes. Black inside hides dirt and scuffs, white outside keeps them stylish. And the correct comparison is to a cookie.

Seriously, I thought that white shoes were ever the minute they came out. Or were for me anyway...

The only rule should be, do they fit? And are they comfortable at mile 80?

If the answer is yes, then, they look excellent no matter how worn or filthy.
