A guy I ride with fairly regularly named Jermaine Lopez was involved in a terrible cycling accident while out on a vacation in the Bay Area. He's in bad shape. I don't know any details other than what's posted on his Gofundme page that seeks support beyond what insurance will cover.
Jermaine's a newbie to serious road riding, but has impressed me with his natural abilities, keeping up with and making attacks on the seasoned dudes on some long road rides in the south Chicago area.
The guy is a huge cycling enthusiast and loves to put in the miles as we all do.
If there's anything I can do, is spread the word of his need for support to a community of other riders.
