So is anyone watching the Tour of Utah? Their website is one of the best I've seen for watching a bike race. They have live video, course profile and map with location of the break away and peleton, text updates, and current stats such as average speed, distance ridden, total feet climbed and time elapsed.

I haven't even explored the other pages. Check it out if you haven't seen it already...

yea i dunno what company does all this but its pretty great, they've done identical "tracker" sites for pretty much every major american stage race (TOC, pro cycling challenge, etc) for the past couple years now. makes for a great viewing experience for sure.

This seems like an oxymoron :)

Thanks for posting this link. It is actually pretty nice. Certainly much better than a pirate stream! :hello:

I've been watching it on tv, Fox Sports 1 or something? Not overly impressed, but at least there's no Phil and Paul...

My DVR is set to record all cycling so I have watched the first two stages. I watch the break get away, fast forward at 8x and then watch the final few miles. It sure isn't European pro cycling.

With the free app on iOS and Android you can replay the video as well for the stage, which is pretty convenient, I just send it through to my AppleTV and makes for good viewing.

Fox Sports 1, the former Speed channel.

Thanks. I think we do have that one.

Tourtracker is great. It's a shame it doesn't offer the classics and other euro races.

looks like the same people who runs the NBC online coverage of the Tour.

Thanks Keith pal for bringing to our attention.

Have to agree with OP, et al, the site is pretty rad. That said I tend to full screen on my second display at work and then work on the primary. You know, because work. :bike:

That said some of the commentary unrelated to the race is pretty bad. "Splimber"... *groan*

Wow. The UI on that tracker is great. Ahh if only something like this were available for Tour. :(

Thanks for sharing Keith!

I would pay a nice sum if they would make one of these for Eurosport coverage of major Euro races. All of the nice video and features with the Kirby and Kelly commentary!

I don't get FS2, and while it was supposed to rerun on the local Fox Sports, all I got was baseball and soccer. :(

Looks like you can get the previous stages replayed on the tour tracker website.

I am sorry, even though I have watched every Tour de France since Hinault won and almost every Giro di Italia, I can't stand even a minute of the Tour of Utah. Very boring ····.:crap:

Doesn't look like anyone failed to finish today, so the crashed guy must be ok...?

I live in Park City, so it's pretty fun to see all the pro teams riding around for a couple weeks leading up to the race. Got to do about 50 miles with the MTN Qhubeka team last week before the start of the race. I think the tour tracker powered by Adobe is awesome. 51,000 feet of climbing in 7 days is also pretty brutal. Maybe not as glamorous as some of the other races, but the riders will tell you it's harder.

it's Matt Brammeier from MTN-Qhubeka (http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/brammeier-hospitalised-after-colliding-with-car-during-tour-of-utah/) and he will be OK. fractures to ribs, sacrum, pelvis but no spinal/head injury.
