I first heard about this on the BBC last night, then today on "On Point" on NPR. Bob Dylan is going to be doing a DJ gig on one of the satellite radio stations. I realized that although I've practically grown up with his music I don't think I'd ever heard him speak before. I guess to me he's been an éminence grise of R&R. It was nice to hear him as person, not "just" a legend.

Lucky you. It'd be great to listen to him on radio. BTW, I'm very sorry to hear that Keith Richards is in bad shape. I hope he recovers soon, atmo.

I've heard him speak in different interviews over the years and there were definitely times when you couldn't understand a word he was saying. SNL did a bit once where they spoofed it with "Tom Petty" acting as an interpreter. Pretty funny.

Though in recent years he's become much more understandable. I've heard rumors that it's because he's laid off of drugs, but that's just a rumor and I have no idea if it's true or not.

Would be cool to hear him jockey.
