I need to get a saddle for a new bike I have on order. I'm currently using a Fizik Aliante with ti rails and carbon inserts on my Serotta. I'm wondering how the Fizik Aliante Gamma compares. The shape is the same, but it is described as being a little softer than the regular Aliante. I find the regular Aliante to be slightly on the firm side, so softer might not be all bad. I'm considering the Gamma, because it would save me some money. Does anyone have experience with the Fizik Aliante Gamma?

IMO, butts are like fingerprints, so a saddle that's comfy to me may feel horrible to you. Maybe see if your LBS will let you try it around the parking lot?

I have both, and they feel the same to me. YMMV.

My Gamma feels a little bit softer than my carbon-railed Aliante. Either one is vastly superior to any other saddle I've ever used.
