Every now and then we get a glimpse of paradise here in the sunshine state. Check out what I was riding this morning...

BTW, this isn't me, but I was out there on these waves.

I used to hang at 2nd light years ago, we had some good times. Todd Holland was still at Taco City and Kelly Slater was in high school. Ever eat Flamenia's Kitchen? Great Italian food.

I've surfed 2nd Light many times, but if RCs is working, this is my spot of choice. I haven't tried Flamenia's Kitchen as I usually hit one of the burrito places (Big Island or DaKine Diegos) if it's close to lunch time on my way to work.

both of those are new to me but i have heard of DaKine Diegos, Taco City was the best Mexican around in the late 80's, my Cocoa Beach period.

I've driven by Taco City a number of times and heard it was good, but just haven't stopped by. I'll have to give it a try some day. So do you still surf?

haven't been in the water for years, the scene just isn't what it was up there, plus I don't have nearly the time I had back then and up there everybody you surfed, Here it's just a few. One of my riding partners bought the Lake Worth Island Water Sports, maybe he'll get me back in the water.

As much as I enjoy cycling and all things related to bikes, there is nothing quite like riding on the face of a glassy wave. Even though the actual time on the wave is short, it is almost magical. Of course it isn't always head high and glassy, but that's when cycling comes in
