Patrick Macnee dies. He and Diana Rigg (Emma Peel) on The Avengers were my introduction into British TV.

Sad news. He will be missed.

Yep, the Avengers back in the late '60's were pretty cool stuff.

Diana Riggs was great with him, they played off each other very well.

Looks like he 'went Hollywood'; he died in Rancho Mirage rather than in England.
