Shimano 9000 XTR shifters

I have a set of Shimano 9000 XTR shifters. I am doing to run double chainring.
Does anyone know how to set the shifters to double instead of triple?

There isn't a mode converter on M9000 like there was on M980. For a double, you set your inner and outer on the first two clicks. The limit screw on the FD keeps the shifter from going into the third click.
