Anyone hook up a Honjo fender on an Alpha Q CS-25 fork?

On a fluke I swapped out the brake nut on a Serotta F3 and that sorta worked (it's about 8mm).

Problem is I'm trying to hook up a Honjo fender to it and need to find a long bolt with a threaded end, like a ProblemSolver bolt (a long Sheldon fender nut, basically).

Any tips/suggestions are appreciated.

nevermind, i think i found my answer. sheldon fender nuts come in a 32mm length (i'm assuming outer diameter is the same). didn't know that.

On my tournesol the attachment is between the brake and the fork, not behind the fork.

do you mean under the crown? if so you must have a steel fork with lotsa room, no?

steve (hampco) introduced me to the sheldon fender nut awhile ago (for my last fork; i just swapped to alpha q). for my application that's what i need, just a longer one. i'm maxed out on crown clearance with a 25 tire and honjo fender.

On my tournesol the attachment is between the brake and the fork, not behind the fork.

I'm taking credit for this one as I asked PS/QBP to make the longer nut - just in time for Alpha Q to discontinue that fork, as it happened.

Steve, thanks for getting that nut produced, it does its job perfectly. Would you recommend any sort of washer to go up against the CS25 fork?
