I have been thinking about getting some Paul skewers since they came out, when I saw the patriotic special edition ones currently on offer I went for it. They are super well crafted, the cam action feels nice and secure like other internal cam skewers. The skewers also have some pretty heavy knurling to help with slipping if you have horizontal dropouts and an o-ring on the nut side that will keep it from changing position when the wheel is off the bike. I also like the o-ring around the outside for improved grip, can't say I have had too many problems with lack of grip on skewers but it looks cool. Overall I think they are a great aftermarket skewer option.

I've nearly bought a set a few times now. It's the orange bit holding me back. If they make black ones with the the silver end from yours, I may give in.

How do they compare the the late silver Campagnolo stuff? That's what's currently in all my roadies.

Everything PAUL makes is lovely to look at from a no-nonsense functional point of view.

they have a similar feel to campy.

These are great skewers. The only skewer i use on my steel bike now. Absolutely no worries of them slipping in the dropout. Lots of bite.

Don't get that...$600 hubset and no QRs, even tho those companies make some(DT).

It is a bit silly , it would be nice to have some white industries skewers.
The Paul skewers were pricey but they are machined here in the USA so I'm cool with that. Anyone know why Paul quite making non fat bike hubs?
