There was a lot of information on the old board. I must have missed something. Is that all permanently lost to the mists of time?

Good question. I would second the request to have access to the old archives. I was just thinking about this last night -- there was some information that someone posted for me and I didn't save this anywhere and would really like to be able to do so.

I actually posed that question in my "thank you" post, but I'll second it here.

I can see that there could be problems making certain contentious posts available again. But the vast majority were great, and the choice few were extremely valuable!

I agree about the contentious posts -- but given the new rules, couldn't these just be removed?

and allow it to be searched. we don't need the actual posts.

I forgot why I wanted to get a Ritchey Pro or Salsa seat post for the new (used) Atlanta I'm currently building up...or why Modolo bars...or Ritchey Biomax...or Veloflex Pave's...why did I get a Serotta again? After lookin for answers at velo news tech talk, cyclingforums.com, and bikeforums.net, i almost started to want a Cannondale! :D
