Vios super cookies

hey guys i thought i had read about this on another thread but was unable to find. so all of you tech savy guys is there some way i can go to a search and than not have all these ads. i thought i had read something about vios super cookies but how can i eliminate? of course their website is of no help. oh and i am using an apple macbook pro with mavericks. thanks for any help.
