SOLD

It's with some trepidation (but ultimately peace) that I post up my Legend frameset+ for sale here. I purchased it a few years ago from a forum member and built it to be a light, reliable, and fast bike. It was all of those things for me but I never raced it as much as intended and my riding as of late has leaned toward dirt/adventure. I recently purchased a disc brake road bike and (whether good or bad) I can't imagine building up a rim brake road bike without ample tire clearance again in the near future. It's time to pass it along and let someone else enjoy this amazing frame!

2010 Serotta Legend Ti
ST: 48cm
TT: 53cm
ETT:53.5cm

Seat tube angle: ~73.8 (calculated; ironically, I can't find my angle finder)
Head tube length: 122mm
Standover: 77cm at the center of the top tube with 23mm tires
Fork stiffness: 6.5
Tires: It'll clear a 23mm in the rear, 25 doesn't rub but seems a bit tight (it's got big chainstays). A 25 fits comfortably up front.

My BB-top of saddle: 73cm
Tip of saddle-bars: 52.5cm (with 120mm stem and 15mm setback post)
All of the logos are painted on; no decals here.
I built it using ti paste, so everything came out smoothly. No hints of galling or seizing.

Cockpit (100% new): Salsa 80mm stem, 40cm c-c bars, WTB Silverado white saddle

Frame/fork/headset: $1400
+cockpit: $1500
Shipping within the continental US is on me. If you live elsewhere I'd happily share the cost of shipping with you.

You can see pictures of my setup when I had it complete here:

Pictures as it sits now:

The saddle height is like 81cm in this picture. I just didn't insert the post much because it's new; it's not supposed to be indicative of a realistic riding position.

This is a pretty big chunk of the paint taken out. I'm really not sure when this happened.

Thanks for the compliments folks!

To answer a few questions I've got so far:

Seat tube angle: ~73.8 (calculated; ironically, I can't find my angle finder)
Head tube length: 122mm
Standover: 77cm at the center of the top tube with 23mm tires
Fork stiffness: 6.5
Tires: It'll clear a 23mm in the rear, 25 doesn't rub but seems a bit tight (it's got big chainstays). A 25 fits comfortably up front.

Thanks again for looking and let me know if you have any other questions.

Edit: All PMs answered so far.

A quick update on this frameset:

The wheels and seatpost have been passed on to a couple friends of mine here to finish builds of their own. Everything else listed (frame/fork/headset, stem, bars, saddle) is still available.

Thanks, and ride safe!

bmeryman,

I linked to your build post you should ping "Cat3roadracer" and see if he is truly interested might be too small if he's looking at 54-56. It is a pretty bike that's for sure, too small for me thank goodness.

Just noticed the Serotta inside each fork leg. That pumpkin is custom from stern to bow. Almost looks like something a factory employee would create after hours.

Looks close to 54-56. I'll be looking for that in the classified section.

I always thought that this was hands down the hottest looking Legend I had ever seen. Such a bargain at that price.
