Are the left and right crank arms on the alloy Record triple crank equidistant from the centerline? I know that it uses a 111mm asymmetric BB. What about the Racing Triple that uses a 111mm symmetric BB?

Another triple question; what is the right side taper mm offset on the Campag. 111mm asymmetric BB? Many thanks.

Yes they are, even with a non symmetric BB.

Racing T is too after about late 1998. The changed the LH crank arm, splayed it more, to match right one.

Danke, Peter.

Are the Q factors the same between the Record Triple and Racing Triple?

Should be...65.5mm from CL of BB to inside of both crank arms.

Correct. I have a 2004 Record Triple with 111 asymetrical BB, and both sides equal. Also have a same time period silver Centaur triple, with 111 symetrical BB, and both sides equal.

Had an early 8 speed Racing T triple, and both sides NOT equal on that crankset. Must be like OP says, it was later changed.

I have an asymmetric Chorus 111 BB here somewhere but couldn't find it to measure the offset. I've measured it before but can't remember exactly. It seems to me that it's 3-4 mm difference.

Phil Wood shows it a +3 on their BB site. But I'm not sure what side that's on. Believe non drive side. Got a feeling Campy didn't change the left side arm (from doubles), and just made the axle longer on that side to compensate for extra space the triple crank takes up on other side. Where as on the Centaur based triples, they changed the left side arms so could use the symetrical 111's.
