Specialized has stopped making carbon soled road shoes for the SPD 2-bolt cleat. I loved my Pro Road shoe - fit, Body Geometry design, etc.

I need recommendations for a carbon sole, SPD 2-bolt shoe with comparable quality, fit, and feel. Thanks.

Scott;

The first question may be, does anybody make a carbon soled road shoe that will accomodate SPD cleats any more?

I think the choices will go from limited to non-existent as time goes on.

Hopefully we're not at that point yet.

Have you looked at the high end MTB shoes? I think there may be some carbon or carbon reinforced soles starting to pop up there and they would certainly be able to accomodate SPD cleats.

Take a look at the new Specialized since you liked your old shoes so well.

Go for the Rocket 7s. You won't regret it.

Perhaps change pedals instead of new shoes?

Not a chance. I love my Bebops too much.
