And what a bright future it will be!

....meanwhile, i still ride steel, one gear, rim brakes, all from the 80's. look forward to these designs. hate the whole "exposed" drivetrain that modern bikes have.

the bike shown in the video highlights a bicycle that is light in weigh, flexible in design, allows for gearing, allows for disc brakes, and is aerodynamic. these bikes will be expensive at first, and then will drop down quickly in price year by year.

thanks BMC, keep at it! Trek, other companies...what is your answer to this future superbike! competition is good for innovation.

cheers

this morning some sales dude was trying to tell me that you need through axles on a carbon disc road frame to have an all road bike thats "stable"

"innovation"= new stuff for no reason so that you'll buy it

that's not actually true but I'm feeling grumpy

i would like more practical developments in bicycle hardware

that BMC is ugly

IMHO

well, even though its ugly.

it is nice that they put the time and effort to make a design statement.

Says the guy in the video, "We don't know what drive trains are going to be like in 5 years."

I can make a pretty good guess.

^ you're surely not suggesting they'll be about the same as the last hundred?
