Some of the Doc's old racing buds are on Fondriest frames this year. Although the Doc is in bike limbo until the shoulder becomes a work of orthopedic cuisin-art, he did have the change to check out these rigs....
They're matte black, all goofy graphics and odd-shaped tubes, with erector-set chainstays finishing them off...and finished with some chunky welds...and you know what...they're cool in a stealth-bomber cutting-edge-racing-tool way. Beautiful, even.
The Doc has a weakness for lugs. The Doc just doesn't get Ti, for reasons that the more maleveloquent jerk could discuss...but the doc and I do find beauty in modern bikes...they're just not for us....
