Well I was given the option to swap my 2014 EVO Hi Mod frame for a 2012 Dogma 60.1. Love the Evo and have nothing negative to say about it. I always like to try out new bikes and never had a chance to try out a Dogma but always wanted to see what all the hype is about. Anyone rode both and can give a comparison? Would you do the deal? It is a straight up swap.

The other option I have is a Look 695 aerolight but the size is a 55. The Dogma is a 53 and my EVO which fits nicely with a 100mm stem is a 54.

Cheers and thanks for any and all feedback.

the dogma is definitely worth more than the EVO, so its a good trade in that respect...that said, i rode a dogma for a couple hundred miles as a demo/rental and i was not a huge fan...it just felt like a too-stiff aluminum bike...or something.

i have never ridden one but i would imagine the EVO might be the better riding frame of the two...just because the dogma was so harsh.

OK so +1 for the Dogma?

I would not trade my EVO Hi-mod for a Dogma 6.1. Maybe an F8 but not a 6.1.

Now the Look on the other hand, that might get my attention but if it's too big I'd stick with the EVO.

The 695 Aerolight is an interesting option. These days sizing means very little, you need to compare the geo on the bikes for a more accurate idea of fit.
I have always liked the Look bikes, they seem to be excellent quality. The Aerolight has a few parts that limit choices ie the Zed crank and integrated brakes, but it is a beautiful bike.
If it fits I would take it.

I am not too good with fit. Can some take a look at the 55cm look 695 geo and the evo hi mod 54cm and see if I can make it work? Very appreciated. Also for reference I use a 100mm stem on the 54.

Without even looking I'm going to tell you the Look is going to be too big. Keep the EVO or trade it and sell the Dogma and buy something you really want.

Damm not what I wanted to hear. I love the EVO just that itch for something different as I am sure we all get.

I've got a good amount of exp with the Dogma. I agree, it's super stiff. Kinda sucks after a 65 mile ride. But the paint jobs, if it has that glitter paint is just pure sick. Super nice, on another level of pretty

The look, I can't stand having to cut down the seatpost. That just pisses me off. I'm finicky as hell, and having the ability to NOT change my seatpost would keep me up at night.

The EVO, that bike rides really well...but I would save the $$ and buy a CAAD 10 and buy some great wheelset and call it a day. That CAAD 10 is a damn good bike. But that EVO is light as hell, and one of the BEST priced carbon bikes on the marker IMO.

I did look, and yes...the Look is more like a 56cm Evo.

So I would need a M in a Look correct?

Keep the Hi mod. It ranks as one of the best riding carbon bikes out there. You will be hard pressed to do much better.

Agree, keep the Hi-Mod. Its a more advanced bike. Look elsewhere to satisfy your fashion instincts.

Thanks I think I will do just that.

I have not ridden an Evo or the Dogma but I do have a Look 695 that I absolutely love!!

It's not the Aerolight but everything integrates perfectly. Not reason to get any other crank...the Zed is the lightest and stiffest and most adjustable and easy to work on (I've never needed to do anything in almost 5 years except normal cleaning and lubing).
And the ride is wonderful...even long after 100 miles.

If it fits for you...don't pass it up!

Thoughts on the 675?
