Rich,

This contest is too easy to fix. I know who is building your bike. You better make sure no one tries to sneak some lead weights into your seat tube.

Enjoy.

Rich W,

I may have to disqualify myself. I have the same bike with the same set-up except for the pedals. I use speedplays. The bike will weigh 17 lbs. 5 oz. with the Ksyriums. Enjoy it. It is awesome.

Rich_W,
the only detail you missed was how many boxes of bar tape you have to give out . I sure hope, for your sake, that 10 people don't guess the correct weight.

Sorry folks... only one box... so I guess in all fairness, the box of Black Serotta Logo tape will need to the first person who enters a specific weight.

Being that this is my official, unofficial contest, underwritten by me, myself, and I, I can therefore make up the rules!

So... that being said... here are some more details. The weight of the bike will be determined by my shop's hanging scale which will be photographed first zero'ed out, and then complete with the previously mentioned build kit and two wheelset options.

The weights will be recorded in and rounded off to the nearest Lbs, and Ozs.... for example: 16 lbs, 9 oz.

So if you guessed 17.0 after someone already did... then you you've shafted yourself... so please try again with a more specific answer.

Once we get a few pages of entries, I will post a table of who has what.

Thanks for participating!

OK Folks... been thinking about this more... Since we're getting so many duplicate entries, I put a table of entries on my webserver.

Now, I went throught the list, in order, and since there were duplicate entries, I gave the next available box, closest to the guessed weight.

There is two columns, your chances are obviously better to pick weights in both. Hmmm... I may end up having to buy a second roll of tape here, so there is a prize for both columns... let me see if I can locate an extra roll.

Anyway, please reference the following chart for the entries on record. Only weight entries posted to this thread will be accepted.

Rich,

You know enough lawyers between your friends and relatives. You should have had someone write the fine print for you. :crap: :fight:

Hi Rich -

I just noticed that you entered my guesses in the wrong columns. I guessed 17.0 for the zipps and 18.0 for the ksyriums.
