terrific story with some really cool older pictures from some of their epic adventures.i have so much respect for both Tom and Jobst.thanks for posting the link.

THe interesting of all those pictures is that the dude was very very tall and all the other people in the pictures, even the kids are as tall as he was... he looks quite average tall size in the pictures.

Awesome tribute. Jobst sounds like an interesting dude and a fun guy to ride with. Didn't realize just how integral he was to the early northern ca scene. Also, didn't realize how tall he was either, look at that headtube :eek:

Truly deserving of the word EPIC. Not that I'm strong enough, but I wish I could have been along on some of those rides. Thank you for posting.

Loved the piece, we could use a reminder of some of those lessons- what to ride and where (your bike, everywhere) and how to ride (long and hard). Nothing else really matters until something breaks off, then well, fix it. Speaking of fixing it, bonus points to find the typo on every page of the website. I sent them a notice through the contact us form, maybe they'll send me some socks, or maybe just one sock since it's a small misspelling... One sock would be cool, I have another that's missing a mate.
