looking for reasonably priced alloy clinchers with wider rims. Anyone have experience with Boyd Altamonts?

No but have been running the 44mm Boyd clinchers and they are amazing . Been down a lot of descents and thoroughly tested the brakes which do fine . Less power required to hold speed on flats . Great customer service from Boyd as well

I got a free set when they had the black Friday sale - buy a carbon set get the Altamonts free. I don't have many miles on them but they ride as well as the Hed Belgium wheels I have.

Just bought a Powertap built into Boyd Vitesse (preceeding model) wheels for my wife from a member of this forum. The rims are very nice.
