Is there a need for an adapter plate for the Genius 4 and new time pedals...The web site is a little confusing. My Sidis are the Millenium II sole and fit the cleat directly it would seem. But, I see that there is a time adapter plate but no specific information on what it fits (old time/impact etc).

Thanks

No you will not need any plates. The Impact cleat will bolt directly to that sole, with the use of its own rubber shim to adapt the flat cleat to a curved sole. The shim will be supplied with the cleat and not the shoe. The new RXS cleat is curved and will mount directly to the three bolt pattern on the shoe with no need for any kind of adapter.

ghisallo is correct. no plate or anything needed.
fits into the 3 bolt look pattern. sidi used to require a plate... no mas.

Finally it seems, the market is almost
back to a standard hole pattern.

What an idea, only three holes in your sole!
For a while there, I thought maybe the Swiss
were going to start charging a license fee.

when i went to speedpay pedals/cleats on my sidi genius 4 shoes i took off the platform and spd attachments and was surprised at how well the speedplay cleats bolted directly to the sole with the use of othe 3f 3r shims. super close to the pedal spindle. for all of you sidi shoe users take off the sub assembly to the sole and then bolt up cleats.
