I'm trying to determine the make and model of these Easton Tubular Wheels. They are older EC90s but I want to be certain which year these are? (I'm helping a friend appraise these) So I defer to the expert citizens of Paceline to help me out! Thanks in Advance.

Easton EC90 Aero wheels. Can't see from the pics, but each hub will should be marked with an R4SL designation....R4SLs have ceramic bearings.

Per this (http://velonews.competitor.com/2010/12/bikes-and-tech/just-in-eastons-ec90-aero-58mm-carbon-clincher_153352)article, they came out in 2010. Not aware of any major changes from 2010-2014, but you can probably google around and find if there were any.

Easton launched their new Aero wheel range in 2014, so they're somewhere in the at '10-'14 range.

I've ridden and sold a couple pairs of Easton tubulars and condition trumps model year, as they don't make many changes. I'd suggest looking up recent sales on eBay as the best estimate of value. Some of the numbers may surprise you.

Thanks! This is certainly good news, these wheels have been ridding sub 100 miles and have been collecting dust in a friend's apartment. Looks like I'll be taking this to classifieds and the bay.

Cheers.

have a set just like them, mine are prolly one year older as the decals on mine are slightly different. GREAT wheels. fastest wheelset i've ever ridden.
