I've been looking at this bike on ebay, csi, in vgc, but it seems a little overpriced. Is it just me? What do you guys think? Ebay listing number below.

Way over priced at $2400 USD. I would say that $1200 would be more in line.

I have that green on a concours and really like it! The bike is my size and I'd love to own it, but I don't believe the seller is being realistic enough in the starting price to make an offer that would seem reasonable... Plus listing as a cs1 is kinda off putting when you're asking so much. At least know what you're selling, or show that you do.
All in at $1200 maybe. Is there really a measurable gain over this (http://forums.thepaceline.net/showthread.php?t=166129&highlight=Atlanta) gorgeous Atlanta?

Agree completely with the comments, just wanted to ensure that price is inflated. i did email them asking if he was willing to part out the frame separately...that was 4 days ago, no response.

That's my fav group, so I'd go a little higher if I had to have another CSI. Still $1200 to $1500.

Priced more in line with new cost/LBS pricing than the current market. A CSI with Chorus was right at $3000 in 1995, not sure how much the price went up in the 9 speed era.
The seller of the CRL (virtually the same frame) with 7400 starting at $850 is more in line with the market, though he's lacking in positive feedback.

I really like this one, but the 61 TT would make it the longest I've ridden:

I would have a very tough time saying no to that if it were my size.

I have a Colorado AL that has a 60 cm TT and was surprised how comfortable I am on it, even though that's quite a bit longer than my norm. It has a very tall HT, which greatly reduces my usual 12 cm drop on 58 TT frames, and compensates nicely for the long TT. Guess I should ask the seller about HT length. I did ask about the paint, and he confirmed that he had it repainted. It was originally BRG, but I really like the yellow - even though the panels are not something Serotta did much of circa 1994.
for $2400 you could get a custom steel frame/fork. Copy the Serotta geometry and cobble the rest. frame is in good shape and with summer approaching the frenzy is beginning.

Personally, I'd be $700 bid for the frame, $750 with the Silca pump. No interest in the components or wheels.

Well, i'm done with this listing...offered $1200, he countered at $2000, i countered again at $1500 and even said i'd pick up in person while on vacation....he said $2k is the lowest he'll go.
All i can say to him is..good luck!
Thanks guys for all the feedback on csi.

Do you mean you would pay $2400 if it had a threadless headset?
