zac, a pal and fellow 'cross racer from new england
has left seven cycles and moved to the northwest. i just
read about his his new gig (http://www.cascadebicyclestudio.com/) in the industry 'zine that arrived
today. it looks like it's done right. zac is a team mate of
zanc's on team hup united (http://www.hupunited.com/) - those cats have the second
coolest kits on the 'cross circuit atmo.

Cool. It looks like a nice, focused shop. Reminds me of some of the old, intimate high-end audio shops, where it was you, the proprieter, and a boatload of fine equipment.

The name sounded familiar to me - I thought Zac might have been the guy at Seven who was so helpful and gracious to me when I bought my used Axiom. I dug thru my email archive... Turns out it was another "Z" guy, only one letter different. Who knew Watertown and Worcester were so close?

It appears the other Mr. Z (let's call him Mike) was doing customer service for Seven back in '03. Dunno what kind of 'cross racer he is...

He must be busy brazing now. He could take a page from your book and spend more time reading my postings, atmo.

Thanks for the link--that's right down the hill from my home. I may ride by and take a look during the afternoon commute...

Yes sir, I have no voice left and I don't ever want to get in my car again. But, the 30+ hours of driving were all worth it!

e-RICHIE, I am sure my buddy Zac appreciates the mention. He is doing really well out in WA with his business, but we sure miss him. HUP will be out in force this fall, but not having the godfather around will be tough. But, he will be flying the colors in Seattle/Portland along with the rest of the Pacific Northwest HUP crew.

davids, how did that bike work out for ya? I hope I was able to help out. Oh, and let's just say that I am not as fast as Zac. We don't really need to go into further detail :)

It worked out great - It was #1 bike for three years. Now, it's the "other bike" (see my sig.) You were very helpful, Mike! Glad to know I know ya!

I used to drink a lot of beer in that neighborhood (Red Door, Dubliner, Trolleyman)...lived for about 10 years in 4 houses within walking distance.

Looks like a cool place.

Best of luck.
