So I have a 2006 giant OCR, and I am getting a Specialized Allez smartweld frame set friday. I just thought about swapping over all the components and I had a question. I just built my bike a month or so ago. how likely is it that I will need new cables and housings for the new bike? I think the top tube has a cable that gets routed through it... But I am not sure if it's the entire cable or just the housings. The frame is a 2014 specialized Allez , similar to the tarmac etc. Thoughts? Not even sure the LBS has those parts.
