I have a creak with my rear wheel and after exchanging the cassette, have narrowed it down to the OG-1090 10 speed cassette. I have it tightened to 40 N-m. I read that something could be greased. Does anyone know how to deal with this, other than going back to the 1070 cassette?

Weird. Is it new?

When in doubt, restart, do over, try it again...with grease. Seems to cure unknown ills.

Thanks. I took off the cassette and spread grease over contact points and it seems better. Will test this weekend. Appreciate the advice.

Maybe some lindseed oil on the spider contact points, grease on the FH body or a shimano 5700/6700 cogset..lasts longer anyway.
