I may have to leave the cycling meca of nor cal to NJ for my wifes job...although that is where I fly out of anyway and commute to weekly when not teaching in houston.

Anyway...I am looking for some input to a reputable team to train and race with either cat 4s or 5s and above for that room to improve. I also would like it to have a good infastructure...I guess I am spoiled on the Alto Velo club setup in california. Also looking for a good shop that knows FIT!

Thanks in advance.

Mark

I've been out of racing (former junior, CAt 3 on the road and track) since 1994. Last year I just got back on the bike. I raced for the Doylestown Wheelman and Guys Bike Shop back then.

If your close to PA there are several strong teams in the PHL area. Also look at the ABE area teams as well. www.lvvelo.org and go to the links and you'll find some teams listed.

In Doylestown (about an hour NE of PHL and about 8 miles west of the Del river from NJ, there is this team:

I ride for tri-statevelo amorosos racing. tri-statevelo.com

in south jersey there are several strong teams- guys bikes, summit, pro pedals and there are some others I am sure I have forgotten. I am of no help if you are north of 195 but you are welcome to come on down and train with us.

ocsj.org member rides section will give you some weekly rides.
