im told its not vintage but rather something modern and perhaps still in production...looks kinda old to me

the threaded 2 prong adaptor i believe fits over the freewheel threads then the BMX cog screws on

Looks like something rigged up using a cup of the non drive side of a old bottom bracket.

Or you can do it this way from White Industries using a normal track or SS hub....

Hard to tell from the pictures but it looks like the punk-rock way to set up retro-direct gearing

a friend brought the wheel over so i havent seen what it was attached to. he says an attachment mounts to the right chainstay that will derail the chain to switch gears between the 2 cogs

I don't know what this is but I remember Rivendell sold a "single" speed that had two cogs on a flip/flop hub. I think it was called Quickbeam.

That was my thought as well, but the ratios wouldn't be that different.

All I'm seeing in the pictures is an old S.S freewheel mounted on a standard road hub. Yes, there is room for two different S.S freewheels at the same time.. :confused:

It's not 'fixed' gear anything.
